Connie Beth Bates Williams, a wonderful lady who’s deep love for Jesus resulted in life long service to Him. Working along side her best friend, sweetheart and husband of 39 years, Pastor Dennis Williams of West Plains, MO. She well serviced as Sunday School teacher, youth leader, worship singer, activities director, nurse’s aid, teacher’s aid for special needs children and attendant at Special Olympics. Her infectious smile, playful attitude, and caring spirit touched the lives of many from all walks of life and is her living legacy.

Connie’s mother Thelma Jane O’Dell and father James Basil Bates celebrated her life on December 26, 1941 at Bardley, MO. Both parents, her son Spencer Dee Cypret, daughter Angelia Jane Cypret and Jesus, preceded her in death and welcomed her to life external on February 9, 2018.

Brothers, Jim and Victor Bates of Alton, sister Sharon Stotler of Rolla, her daughters Jamie Cypret Warren and Neena Cypret Carter, step-son Chris Buckner, two son-in-laws, Scott Warren and Jerry Carter and daughter-in-law Tonya Buckner, along with all extended family and friends say in Connie’s words, “God is Good, All the Time”.

Services will be 2:00 pm Monday, February 12, 2018 at the Alton Assembly of God Church with Bro. Bill Miller officiating. Visitation noon-until service time at the church. Interment will be in the Cave Springs Cemetery under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home, Alton MO. Pallbearers Jerry Carter, J.L. King, Floyd Wickins, Chad Wickins, Lonnie Mills and Sid Williams.
