Tommie Ray Collins, 61, of Fort Worth, TX, died April 15, 2023, in Bedford, TX while surrounded by loved ones. He was born June 23, 1961, in Honolulu, Hawaii, to parents Freddie and Shirley Collins. Being a military family, they moved to various bases in AK, TX, and MO before settling in Mammoth Spring, AR. Tom had a passion for Basketball and coached his children’s teams as they were growing up. He also loved cars, the Arkansas Razorbacks, traveling, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was also an avid 70's and 80's music lover and. He was known for his quick wit, as well as his athleticism. He is survived by: his wife, Sally; his two children, Tiffany and Tommie; his two grandchildren, Easton and Carter; 2 sisters; 2 brothers; several cousins, nieces & nephews; and numerous other relatives and friends. Tom was preceded in death by his father, Freddie, and his mother, Shirley. Funeral services will be 2pm Saturday, April 22, 2023, at the Clary Funeral Home in Thayer, MO, with Robert Brown officiating, and burial following in the Riverside Cemetery in Mammoth Spring, AR. Visitation will be 6pm-8PM Friday, April 21, 2023.
