Wade Jack Howell, age 87 of Mammoth Spring, AR, was born July 19, 1933, in Koshkonong, MO, and passed away June 24, 2021, at his home. Survivors include: his wife, Becky; daughter, Lorna (Dennis) Avery; four grandchildren, Alan (Dawnisa) Avery, Matthew (Brietta) Avery, Trista (Seth) Botchway, Keeley Rogers; six great-grandchildren, Alex, Axton, Sawyer, Tenley, Edmund, Henry; three brothers, Vernon Howell, Wayne Howell, Paul Howell; sister, Violet Reed; and numerous other relatives and friends. Preceding him in death were: his parents, Fred Howell and Ada Stanley Howell; daughter, Lisa Rogers; brothers, Virgil and Van Howell; and sister, Fern Adams. Jack was a Veteran, proudly serving his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Jack retired from Tindle Feed and was well known as a hard worker with various other jobs. He and Becky made their home in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, most of their married life. He also enjoyed baseball and basketball and was an avid gardener. He could cook the world’s best breakfast! Jack was a member of the Church of Christ in Thayer, MO. He will be remembered as a Loving Husband, Father, and Grandfather and will be dearly missed. Services will be 2pm Sunday, June 27, 2021, at the Clary Funeral Home in Thayer, MO, with burial to follow in the Riverside Cemetery. |
