Michael James Rackley passed from this earthly life surrounded by family June 25, 2023 . He was born February 20, 1961 to James and Jo Ella Dodson Rackley in West Plains, MO. He is survived by his wife Angela Lynn Croney Rackley of the family home in Alton, MO; two sons: Gregory James Rackley of Myrtle, MO and Bradley Jason Rackley of Springfield, MO; three grandchildren; Shaylee Delean Rackley (fiancé Zech Trammell) of Alton, MO, Allison Mae Rackley & Liam James Rackley of Myrtle MO, a great-grandson Arizona Wes Trammell of Alton, MO three sisters: Janet Rackley (Branson, MO), Patti Collins (Alton, MO), Nancy Rackley Pickney (husband Kevin) (Pittsburg, MO), and a brother Mark Rackley (wife Kristie) (Alton, MO) ; mother-in-law Lillie Croney (Myrtle, MO), brother-in-law Jeffrey Croney (fiancé Michelle Lee) (Couch, MO), and sister-in-law Amy Story (husband Kary) (Pocahontas, AR) and several nieces and nephews. Mike was preceded in death by his parents James & Jo Ella Rackley, maternal grandparents Reverend Clarence & Berlie Hall Dodson, paternal grandparents James & Lena Mitchell Rackley, father-in-law Charles Croney and numerous aunts and uncles. Mike was a very loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, brother, and uncle. Mike was a hard worker, always providing for his family. He was an avid hunter and mister fix-it. He just took care of everything. He was a good musician and singer, with bluegrass being his favorite. He was a good Christian man who was a friend to many. Family night will be held Tues. June 27 at Clary Funeral home from 6-8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Wed. June 28 at 10:00am at Centerpoint Church of God of Prophecy at Junction 142 & HH Myrtle, MO with Pastor Jake Lawrence and Reverend Edward Casey officiating. Burial will be at Cottoncreek Cemetary in Couch, MO under direction of Clary Funeral Home.
