Willie T Barton JR. (W.T.) was born December 1, 1932, in Alton, MO and passed away January 22, 2025 at St. Frances Hospital in Mountain View, MO He is survived by his three sons, Greg (Regina), Randal, Jeff (Edith) Barton and all of Alton, MO. Four grandchildren, Erin Melby (Heath), Jonathan Barton (Amber), Cortney Warren (Dustin) and Tyler Barton (Candice). 11 Great grandchildren Jadeyn and Jasper Melby, Jordan and Brooks Barton, Peyton, Lanie, Cameron and Lawson Moyer and Jesse Barton, Kadynce and Emersyn Warren, three brothers Howard (Alice) Barton, Gary (Dorothy) Barton, Garland (Sheila) Barton, 1 sister Donna (Irven) Vest, numerous nieces and nephews and other friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Geraldine Barton, both parents Willie T Barton SR. and Ara Dodson Barton and two sisters Louise Winkler and Norma Jean Christopher. He was a Korean War veteran having served in the US Army. He was a brick mason and farmer most of his life, he was a loving husband and father and grandfather. He loved fishing, trapping and hunting and being with his grandkids. He attended Alton Assembly of God Church. Visitation will be 11:00am-Noon Saturday Jan 25, 2025, with services to follow at Noon at the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, MO with Bro. JR Andrews officiating. Interment will be in the Cave Springs Cemetery. |
