Lula Bell (Collins) Waits, age 73 of Mammoth Spring, AR, was born July 8, 1948, in Mammoth Spring, AR, and passed away August 12, 2021, at the Fulton County Hospital in Salem, AR. Survivors include: 1 daughter, Kimberly Lancaster & husband Jackie of Pomona, MO; 1 son, Dwayne Waits of Salem, AR; 1 granddaughter, Clara Waits; 2 nieces, Gins Ray & husband Sam of Ash Flat, AR, and Beverly Clark & husband Ray of Sitka, AR; 1 nephew, William Collins of Ash Flat, AR; numerous other nieces, nephews, & other relatives & friends. She is preceded in death by: her parents, Lawrence & Beasel Collins; 1 brother, Billy Gene Collins; and 2 infant siblings, Cleadie and Cloudie. Lula Bell loved watching rodeos and Cardinals baseball on tv, and cherished spending time with her granddaughter “Clara Pooâ€. She served 32 years as a cook for the Mammoth Spring School, where she enjoyed seeing the kids come through year after year. She also enjoyed the time she worked for Riverside and Spring River Oaks. Graveside services will be 10am Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at the Babe Collins Cemetery in Wirth, AR, with Bro. Brad Pierce officiating.
