Oliver Hensley was born August 8, 1931, near Couch, MO, son of the late William C. Hensley and Lois Oliver-Hensley.

He was married to Betty Owens on May 17, 1985.

Survivors include a sister Betty McGary of Birth Tree, MO, two nephews Mark Hensley of Springfield, MO and Ulen McGary of Blanchard, OK, sister-in-law Betty Hensley of Springfield, MO and numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, sister Josephine Viola Hensley, nephew Duane McGary, two brothers William Jay Hensley and Jimmy Joe Hensley.

Visitation will be1:30-2:00 pm Wednesday, February 9, 2022, with services to follow at 2:00pm at the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, MO with Bro. Jr Andrews officiating. Following cremation, burial will be later in the New Salem Cemetery, Couch, MO.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jason McGary, Ulen McGary, Johnny Fox, Ron Chitwood, Dean Cockman and Robert Fisher.
