Geneva Ann (Betty) Milnes, age 82, of Rogersville, MO, was born May 15, 1940, in LaFayette, GA, and passed away August 25, 2022, at her home in Rogersville, MO. She was joined in marriage to Kenneth Lee Milnes on January 6, 1958. Out of the union, they had two sons, Randy Lee Milnes and John Anthony Milnes. Survivors are to include: her loving, yet ornery husband, Kenneth Milnes of Rogersville, MO; her son, Randy Milnes and wife Michele of Rogersville, MO; her granddaughters, Katie and Addie; and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by: her son, John Anthony (Tony) Milnes; her father and mother, William (John) and Flossie Betty; her nine brothers and sisters; her maternal grandparents, John and Julia Hailey; her paternal grandparents, John and Cora Betty. Geneva held many names throughout her years. Wife, Mother, Mamaw and most importantly Phoebe. She was a loving soul who enjoyed spending time with her family. Memories that will always be cherished. Services will be at 1pm Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at Mentor Baptist Church in Rogersville, MO, with Rev. Robert Long officiating. Visitation will be at 11am prior to the funeral. Burial will follow at the Woodside Cemetery in Thomasville, MO with Charles Trantham closing. Arrangements are under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Alton, MO. |
